The Camp Nou Stadium in Barcelona is the largest in Europe as it can easily seat 100,000 people. The stadium is an exciting place to visit because of its wonderful maintenance and a self-guided tour that allows you take a peek into places that you never thought you would visit (such as walking on the pitch). The self-guided tour also includes a trip to the museum which shows you the history of football in Spain, the achievements and the trophies of the local team, alongside all the significant and important aspects of football.
Tour in the Camp Nou Stadium in Barcelona
The best part about this tour is that the management of the stadium and museum did a good job in adding features that enhance the experiences of visitors. The tour begins with a “Virtual Experience” which is a 3D show.
The 3D show consists of clippings of famous football matches that, with the 3D effects, are mind-blowing.Then you are taken to the football player visitor’s changing room. These changing rooms have very normal facilities. It turns out that the changing rooms of the local team players are more special as they include a spa, a treatment room, a pharmacy and a meeting room. After touring the changing rooms, you get to see the FC Chapel. This chapel was built in 1982 and was blessed by Pope John Paul II.
Next, you get to visit one of the most exciting places from the tour which is the player’s tunnel to the empty pitch! Imagine a crowd waiting for you when you set your foot on the pitch and try to weigh the players’ nervousness and excitement.
You will come to realize in this moment, how the fan’s expectations and happiness depends on the players playing a good game!Next, you get to walk on the 105 by 68 meter pitch and see the 48 meter high stands from the player’s perspective! After this, you can visit the Barcelona FC Press Room that accommodates 120 journalists. Two press conferences take place in this room before and after the match. Imagine representing the winning team with glee in the press room! After you are done visiting the press conference room and facing 120 journalists in your head, you can visit the foundation room which was designed for sponsors.
Last but not least, you can visit the remaining rooms which are the Miro Lithograph, 5 Star Plaque’s room, Barcelona FC President’s Plaque, President’s box and press’s boxes.
The best part of the Camp Nou Stadium in Barcelona and the FCB Museum is that it is located in the famous Spanish city Barcelona. Therefore, you won’t have any trouble finding the stadium and once done, you can enjoy other attractions of the city.
And if you want to assist to alive matches of FC Barcelona, I suggest you to book in advance FC Barcelona tickets, you will also find packages including Barcelona accommodation.
