The Podzemelj Camp is sited on the road running from Metlika to Črnomelj, just after the village of Gradac. It is pleasantly situated with a restaurant, childrens playground and sports ground. Boating with kayaks, canoes or rafts as well as fishing permits are additional activities on offer here in the campsite. The bathing areas are well-kept and suitable for young children. A timber raft is installed in the middle of the river giving swimmers a pleasant rest point. Visits to nearby vineyard cottages with excellent Bela Krajina wine tasting are also favourable.
